We are hiring on behalf of a global law firm for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their high-performing IT operations team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and improving the performance, security, and resilience of the firm’s IT infrastructure.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take ownership of incident resolution, monitoring, and platform administration across a diverse environment, including Windows Server, Azure, Intune, VMWare, VXRail, Cato, Rubrik, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents via ServiceNow
- Systems Admin & Monitoring: Oversee systems including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware, VXRail, Cato, Juniper Mist, Rubrik, Commvault, APC
- Daily Health Checks: Use tools like SolarWinds to ensure infrastructure stability
- Vulnerability & Patch Management: Analyse vulnerabilities using Rapid7 and manage patching for servers, appliances, and network devices
- Firmware & Server Maintenance: Perform firmware updates and decommission legacy servers
- Ticket Escalation, Liaise with MSPs and vendors when services are impacted
- Documentation, Maintain accurate technical documentation for operational continuity
- Proven experience in a broad infrastructure support/engineering role
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Intune, VMWare, and enterprise monitoring tools
- Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and firmware upgrades
- Familiarity with tools like Rapid7, SolarWinds, ServiceNow
- Confident communicator with a detail-oriented, proactive approach
