As Q4 is now in motion (where has the year gone!) I’ve seen huge change this year across the London Market. 

Data hiring is more selective, budgets tighter but demand for real data talent hasn’t slowed.
 
Here’s what I’m seeing: 
 

Data is still king.
Insurers are doubling down on analytics, automation, and AI but they want people who get both the technical and the business impact.
 
Fresh perspectives are welcome.
More insurers are looking outside the usual insurance talent pool bringing in Data/ BI specialists, engineers, and analysts. New ideas are what’s driving innovation.
 
Transformation is real now.
2025 hasn't been about talking transformation but delivering. 
 
Connections still matter.
The London Market still runs on relationships. The best opportunities often start with a conversation, not a job post.

2026 might also be a challenging market but for those ready to adapt, it’s also full of opportunity.
