Cyber M&A Associate Director

This team sits at the heart of our clients M&A business, partnering directly with leading private equity and infrastructure investors as they acquire, manage, and ultimately exit assets and businesses. Their work goes far beyond traditional advisory - they provide end-to-end cyber and digital risk insight across the full investment lifecycle. This includes technical due diligence during acquisitions, ongoing risk signalling and monitoring throughout the hold period, and supporting exit strategies by clearly demonstrating asset maturity and resilience to the market.
 
 What makes this team particularly distinctive is its composition and mindset. Unlike much of the rest of their business, this is not an insurance-led environment. The team is made up of individuals from cyber security, digital forensics, incident response, and military and a real mix of backgrounds - bringing a highly technical, operational, and real-world perspective to client challenges.
 
 Over the past five years, the team has experienced significant growth, with a strong focus on infrastructure assets. This includes sectors such as energy, aviation, and data centres, the critical assets that underpin the global economy. 
 
 The growth of the team has been driven both by market demand and the increasing importance of cyber resilience within critical infrastructure, particularly in today’s evolving geopolitical landscape. As a result, they now work with many of the world’s leading infrastructure investors, positioning the team as a key strategic partner in high-value transactions.
 
 The broader digital M&A capability is global, with established teams across Europe (including Benelux, DACH, and Southern Europe), the Middle East, and a growing presence in the US. This is a highly collaborative and expanding function, offering significant exposure to complex, high-impact deals on an international scale.
